Work Experience
- Instruct English at two rural, indigenous elementary schools to roughly 100 students for 5 days a week while also planning two English camps per year Design lessons plans and games to practice sentence patterns, phonics, and vocabulary through translanguaging and content-based instructional approaches - Initiated contact between Yilan ETAs and National Ilan University administrators to organize English conversational chats and cultural exchange workshops for college freshmen and sophomores - Completed a 60-hour TESOL certification course and teacher training in phonics instruction, cultural adaptation, classroom management, etc.
