SIE.K (Gangdong)

I worked at SIE.K in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, (*NOT* SIE !! They're different, different management, different staff, different curriculum etc) even though they share the same building. SIE.K is amazing. The people in charge of SIE.K are super active and supportive. They trust the teachers a lot, so you're really able to go with your own teaching style. Its a very creative job at SIE.K and not just textbook based, which is great for the kids and also makes the classes really fun. In one of my classes we built a plane over the period of the month and the kids were really happy and it looked great. There's a lot of work like lesson plans and blog posts, but once you know what you're doing its not bad at all. I LOVED working here and cried when I left lol. I had to leave due to my personal life, but if I could've stayed longer I easily would have. Definitely recommend this school 100% if you're a teacher who wants to plan creative lessons with their students and enjoys learning environments that aren't extremely academic. Highly recommend <3
