You are paid on time and you are paid on the higher end even starting (2.3 even with no experience).

There are many bad things happening at this hagwon.

The xxxxx micromanages beyond all compare. I don't even know how to describe it. They are always there to the point that the person I feel is the xxxxx got pushed out of xxxx office and now works and the foyer desk on the second floor. The xxxxx treats the Korean staff terribly and xxxx has a [redacted] at the front desk who watches everything (nickname CCTV teacher). xxxxx will report things to the xxxxxx to talk to you about. The atmosphere in the school is heavily toxic as many teachers are overworked and underappreciated. This is one of the many reasons behind the high turnover. Foreign teachers are not even allowed to chat with each other. When i visited one of my coworkers class during my free time, just for a minute or two. I was being watched on their cctv and later the manager came to tell me off that I am allowed to do my work only. Foreign teachers have to make 5.6.7 years old korean age kids, write essays and make them morise two pages long essays. There's not break time at all because you have to eat with the kids and after the kids finish their food. You either have to play with them and read books to them one by one. The workload is absolutely insurmountable and you have not enough time to finish all the tasks. Biweekly comments, 3 different homework checks and reading 5 books per student, preparing all the craft materials, preparing the background for students speech video, monthly lesson plan, taking the students to the toilet, mopping the floor after kids wash their hands, preparing their morning snacks, serving their afternoon snacks, and after finishing the regular classes. You have more after school classes. [redacted] The xxxxx and another xxxxx are always watching your every move on the cctv and they will try to fix your postures too. [redacted]

There's many more reasons to avoid this hagwon at all cost but I hope what i have said is enough.
