SLP (Gwangmyeong)

Pay is so low considering how overworked you are at this school. Xxxxxx has only gotten worse over the year with very poor leadership and organizational skills as well as bad communication.

There is a lot confusion when it comes to big event days and xxxxx expects you to read their minds when it comes to this giving you very little instruction or direction.

All of your "break times" should be used preparing lesson plans, materials, etc. It is looked down upon if you use your time to do anything other than prep. If you do use your break time, you can only be outside of the building no more than 20 minutes (out of the 45 minute break we are entitled to). This seems to only apply to foreign teachers though.

Mistreatment of foreign teachers is nothing new, if there is a situation in the classroom and you explain your side of the story, management WILL check CCTV and see if you are telling the truth. There is no real trust at this school.

As much as they like to make everything fair between foreign and Korean teachers, there is no real fair relationship between the two. You will always be put second no matter what.
