I would like to advise teachers against working for the Poly campus in Pyeongchon. The largest issues lie with management. In general, management is very unorganized and has a hard time keeping themselves, their office, and their tasks in order, which then tickles down to affect the teachers. On many occasions, teachers are given assignments last minute and expected to complete them in only 1-2 days with little prep time. Training is minimal, with an intense day-long info-dump followed by a few shadow classes before you are thrown into a full day of solo teaching with minimal (or no) support afterward. Students threaten teachers or classmates and are not punished or removed from the campus, despite management promising to do so. Management also has blatant favorites, offering time off or special schedules to some while denying it to others, even those who have seniority and higher performance. Like many other Poly campuses, they also do not provide adequate prep time or break time. There may be worse hagwons out there, but there are also definitely better. I recommend teachers steer clear of this one.
