Academy profiles: getting started and working with recruiters

How to introduce your academy, verify your business and work with recruiters while keeping control of your profile.

How to claim and post jobs

See an example academy profile

Yes. You can create and publish a profile for free, even if you are not hiring. Follow the template to introduce your teaching approach, staff, daily routine, and photos. Fill in what you want teachers to know and preview the page before publishing.

Profiles and posting

Can my academy post jobs directly?

Yes. Verify your authority, complete the shared academy information, and publish your own jobs. A recruiter is optional.

Does the academy need to join before a recruiter can post?

No. Verify the agency once, then select any usable exact academy branch, claimed or unclaimed. An active verified recruiter can post its own jobs without academy approval. Required branch details, identity holds and job or account moderation still apply.

Who can update an academy page?

While a page is unclaimed, verified recruiter accounts can update it. After the academy claims the page, the academy and the recruiters it authorises to edit can update it.

Why does my academy already have a page?

Existing directory information or a verified recruiter may have prepared it for your workplace. Find that page and claim it rather than creating a second one.

Does adding a page give a recruiter control of it?

No. Until the academy claims the page, other verified recruiter accounts can contribute to it too. Nobody owns an unclaimed page, and no single contributor can lock others out.

Can a recruiter enter a different teacher count or branch address?

No. Teacher count, branch address and academy operating hours belong to the shared academy record. Anyone authorised to edit the page changes them for every linked job presentation.

Claiming your academy page

How do we claim our academy page?

Find your exact branch, choose Claim this page, and sign in with an active employer account and verified account email. Choose either business email or a business card from the start. Email uses an independently approved listed address or eligible domain address and a confirmation link; a listed Gmail, Naver or Daum address can qualify. For card review, email a readable photo or scan from your verified account email with your name, role and exact branch. A matching card is sufficient for standard manual review without routine registration documents, ID, a call or a second mailbox challenge. Conflicting claims go to support.

What happens to existing recruiter jobs when we claim?

Eligible verified recruiters’ jobs stay active, including jobs without an old posting grant. Claiming the profile changes editing control, not the recruiter’s independent posting authority. Drafted and suspended jobs are not republished.

Does communal editing continue after we claim?

No. Once the academy claims the page, only the academy and the recruiters it authorises to edit can change it.

Before an academy claims its page
  1. One shared academy page exists for the branch.
  2. Recruiter A and Recruiter B can both update it, and neither needs the other’s permission.
  3. Each recruiter manages its own jobs for the academy separately.
After the academy claims its page
  1. The academy controls the page and who may edit it.
  2. Recruiter A can edit the profile because the academy granted editing permission. Its agency verification independently permits its job postings.
  3. Recruiter B cannot edit the profile without permission, but can still post its own jobs as a verified agency.

Profile editing and independent advertising

What permission can we give a recruiter?

You can delegate editing of your claimed academy page. Historical posting-only grants do not grant editing and are no longer required for posting. Neither grants ownership administration, private academy details or access to another advertiser’s applicants.

Does a recruiter need permission for a claimed academy?

An active, business-verified recruiter can select the exact branch and post without an invitation or request. To edit the claimed profile, request editing permission or accept the owner’s editing invitation. A missing required shared fact should be sent to support if you cannot edit it.

What happens when we remove profile editing?

The recruiter can no longer edit the claimed page. Eligible advertisements remain available and the verified recruiter can still post independently.

Does removing profile permission remove the recruiter’s ads?

No. It removes delegated editing only. Eligible ads and new applications remain available. To dispute a misleading or malicious ad, use its Report this ad link. ESL Whitelist Korea managers review the ad and can moderate the job or account.

Can we change a recruiter’s advertisement?

No. An advertisement belongs to its posting account. Ask the advertiser to correct it or use Report this ad to contact support. Academy profile ownership does not endorse the vacancy or let the owner veto a separate recruiter’s advertisement.

Examples

Two recruiters, one academy

Verified Recruiters A and B can each select the exact Poly or Francis Parker branch and post their own jobs, whether the profile is claimed or unclaimed. Each manages only its own jobs and applicants.

The academy takes control

The academy claims its page. Communal editing ends and the academy chooses profile editors. Eligible recruiters keep posting through their agency verification. Removing a profile editor does not hide that recruiter’s ads; disputed ads go to support for manager review.

Different job hours

The academy operates 9am to 6pm. One job runs 1pm to 6pm. Changing that job’s working schedule does not change the academy’s operating hours.

Incorrect teacher count

A recruiter notices the shared teacher count is wrong. Anyone authorised to edit the academy page corrects it once, and every linked job shows the corrected value.

Reviews and account changes

Does publishing a profile change the academy's reviews?

No. Your profile is your academy's introduction, in your own words. Teacher reviews remain separate. Publishing a profile is not an endorsement or certification from ESL Whitelist Korea.

What happens if an account is deleted?

Shared academy records and other advertisers’ content remain. The deleted account’s own content follows the account deletion policy. Contact support if access needs reassigning.
